Kitchen Counter Tops

When choosing new kitchen counter tops there are 3 things that are commonly overlooked. I call it the SCG (Sink, Corners and Gaps).

Sink:
before you buy your kitchen counter top you have to measure your sink, how big does the whole have to be for fitting the sink into the counter top and how broad does the counter have to be? Make sure there is enough counter top space behind, before and to the sides of the sink as necessary.

Corners:
When installing the kitchen counter top you have to be very careful and precise. The corners are easily damaged and will create a bad look.

Gaps:
Actually it comes always to the same thing; measure and be precise. Mind that your kitchen counter top fits exactly between the kitchen cabinets and the wall behind it. We don’t want any gaps in between, so that there wont fall any food or liquid behind them and create an un healthy environment.

If you mind these 3 steps then you may be certain that your project will end well and that your kitchen counter top will be a success.
