Kitchen Lighting

  Kitchen lighting is often overlooked when choosing a kitchen decor. Actually it is a very important item and is needed to cook a meal properly and to create a certain atmosphere.

Lighting can be divided in 2 main practical possibilities:

Choosing 2 light systems which have separate switches:
One light system that provides bright light. Bright light is needed for cooking, reading cooking books and to see where you are cutting with a knife. In most cases we choose white light or fluorescent light for this matter.

The other light system has to determine the style and atmosphere. Usually warm and orange light systems are picked. They make your kitchen look cozy and create a feel-at-home atmosphere when dining in the kitchen.

The other possibility is to have only one light system in the kitchen. The level of brightness is controlled by a dimmer. So bright light and cozy lighting together in one!
